The South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority (SCLHSA) is a public behavioral health and developmental disability services provider created by the Louisiana Legislature in 2006. It serves individuals in Assumption, Lafourche, St. Charles, St. James, St. John, St. Mary and Terrebonne Parishes. SCLHSA provides a comprehensive array of evidence-based treatment services for youth and adults experiencing behavioral health and substance use disorders. Services are provided in the community regardless of ability to pay. The organization is governed by a local board of nine members representing the seven parishes in its region.
