Great to meet you
SAGE Counseling, Inc. was formed in 1998 to provide evidence-based services. They primarily serve clients referred through the criminal justice system, court-referred individuals, those under court supervision, in diversion programs, incarcerated, or referred by the Arizona Department of Child Safety. SAGE Counseling utilizes Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and the Stages of Change Model in their approach. They also use interactive and empirically-validated assessment tools. Services include comprehensive assessments, case management, peer support, group counseling, individual counseling, couples/family counseling, and diversion education. Most clients begin services with a comprehensive assessment to generate a treatment plan. Case management and peer support are available for clients in their outpatient programs. SAGE Counseling is located in Arizona, as indicated by their work with the Arizona Department of Child Safety and AHCCCS.

Evidence-based approaches
MI
Motivational Interviewing. A collaborative conversation that strengthens your own reasons for change rather than arguing you into it.
CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Spots the thought-feeling-action loops that fuel urges, then rewires them with practical skills you take into the moment.
Group therapy
Group Therapy. A small facilitated circle where people working on similar struggles practice naming what is hard, hearing themselves in others, and learning skills together. The room is the medicine.
Family systems
Family Systems work. Brings the people closest to you into the recovery picture, since urges and relationships rarely live in separate boxes.
