About

Your Recovery Counseling (YRC) provides mental health and behavioral health services to adults aged 18 and older across all 88 counties in Ohio. They offer expert, trauma-informed care for individuals facing personal struggles, community re-entry, grief, or trauma, including first responders. YRC is nationally accredited by CARF for integrated outpatient services and holds state certifications from the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health. Services include individual and group mental health counseling, grief counseling, and specialized trauma therapy for first responders, police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency personnel. They treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, problem gambling, and anger management. YRC also offers re-entry and corrections partnerships, SAP Evaluations for DOT Employees, and case management with recovery coordination, including referrals to MAT prescribers and recovery housing. They provide assessments, outpatient group processing, and individual psychotherapy. YRC offers virtual and in-person services. Levels of care include outpatient group therapy, intensive outpatient groups (virtual and hybrid), and partial hospitalization programming. Assessments are conducted by Ohio Board Certified Licensed Therapists who use biopsychosocial evaluations and DSM-V-TR to formulate diagnoses and recommend levels of care.
