RestorationCity (RC) is a residential therapeutic, Christian-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation program located in Hungerford, Texas, 35 miles southwest of the Houston Metropolitan Area. Founded in 1975 by Director David Kirschke, RC specializes in treating whole families, single parents with children, and single adult men and women struggling with life-controlling problems such as addiction and relational conflicts. The program uses a registered therapeutic approach called "Belief Therapy," recognized by the State of Texas, combined with principles based on the living Word of God. RC provides education and training in leadership, basic life and family skills, and relational restoration through a structured Christian therapeutic community environment designed to support habilitation and help individuals start a new life.
