Remedies Renewing Lives

Remedies, Renewing Lives provides critical services to adults struggling with substance abuse and to victims of domestic violence and human trafficking and their children or vulnerable family members. The organization serves Winnebago and Boone Counties and has been operating for over 60 years. Remedies operates the only domestic violence shelter in these counties and provides domestic violence program services to approximately 1,100 adult and child survivors annually, with about 15% being children. Additionally, substance abuse programs serve approximately 2,000 adults each year. The organization works to end the cycle of abuse, exploitation and addiction through education, support, and community involvement in a safe, supportive environment with client-centered services.
