REA of Hope Fellowship Home

Rea of Hope is a women-centered recovery program located in Charleston, West Virginia, with 6 locations in the Historic East End. The program helps West Virginia women struggling with alcohol and drug addiction by providing safe, affordable housing, case management, life skills training, and referrals for counseling and health care. The program focuses on sustained abstinence-based recovery and family reunification, particularly enabling mothers to be reunited with their children. Rea of Hope serves an average of 44 women and children daily across 45 annual admissions from 46 West Virginia counties. The program includes continuing education opportunities ranging from GED to Master's level, with a goal of 100% full-time employment for all residents. Since its inception, Rea of Hope has graduated 311 women and reunified over 400 children with their mothers.
