Project Ricochet, Inc. is a 501c3 community-based organization dedicated to establishing and maintaining a coalition of parents, grandparents, youth service providers, civic and community leaders, and faith-based leaders to support minority youth at risk of anti-social or criminal activities. The organization employs community development professionals who provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentorship to at-risk youth. Project Ricochet provides tangible pathways for youth to redirect their focus towards economic opportunities through youth-led entrepreneurial initiatives, innovative apprenticeships, job placements in local businesses, and financial incentives for those demonstrating commitment to transforming their lifestyles. The organization engages in authentic interactions with like-minded organizations and collaborates with government agencies to secure additional resources. Project Ricochet also operates the Bet On You! campaign, a community-driven initiative designed to empower individuals to make healthy, informed choices about gambling and self-care, with focus on raising awareness of problem gambling, reducing stigma, and promoting emotional resilience across Kentucky communities, especially among youth, veterans, and families.
