PSL Services/STRIVE is a community-based organization established in 1999 that serves approximately 1,400 members through 14 programs. The organization provides ongoing advocacy and community education, with a commitment to respect, education, openness, trust, and seamless support to enhance learning, success, and self-esteem. Core services include STRIVE for ages 11 and up, Community Supports for ages 18 and up, STRIVE U for ages 18-26 (focused on independent living skills), Case Management for ages 18 and up, and Mental Health services for individuals with diagnosed chronic major mental illness and significant hospitalization history. The organization also connects individuals with social, political, cultural, and recreational resources in their community.
