Project Renewal

Project Renewal is one of New York City's largest providers of comprehensive health services to homeless individuals. The organization provides integrated services including emergency, transitional, and permanent supportive housing to almost 4,000 New Yorkers annually, along with comprehensive health care and job training programs. Services include crisis intervention, dental care, mental healthcare, mobile healthcare, occupational therapy, primary care, and substance use disorder treatment. In 2023, the organization served 9,796 people with substance use disorder treatment, medical care, or psychiatric services. Project Renewal operates multiple locations across New York City and incorporates job training into all aspects of programming, helping people secure employment and maintain housing stability. The organization also operates City Beet Kitchens, a social purpose catering company that supports job training programs.
