Project ADAM

Project ADAM (Alcohol Drug Abuse Ministries) is a non-profit community assistance center in Winder, Georgia, founded in 1980 and dedicated to addressing drug and alcohol addiction. The organization provides clinical alcohol and drug evaluations, custom treatment plans, community education, direct services, and family activities. Project ADAM offers residential treatment (CARF accredited ASAM Level III.1) for males age 19 or older for a minimum of 12 months, including group and individual therapy, family therapy, trauma therapy, anger management, Moral Reconation Therapy, support group meetings, job coaching, budgeting, and relapse prevention planning. Outpatient services include ASAM Level I treatment for adults and adolescents, a risk reduction program, and Drug Court services for the Piedmont Judicial Circuit. The organization also provides DUI Risk Reduction school, clinical evaluations, and drug and alcohol testing. The Medical Director is Dr. Ganiat Jaiyesinmi Ajayi, a psychiatry and addiction medicine specialist.
