POWER (PA Organization for Women in Early Recovery) is a substance abuse treatment center located in Pittsburgh, PA at 7436 McClure Avenue. The organization provides women-centered addiction treatment informed by gender-responsive care that addresses differences in addiction between women and men. Services include detox, inpatient residential treatment, outpatient therapy, and peer mentoring support. The POWER Line is an assessment and screening service available for adults and adolescents struggling with substance use, as well as those concerned about a loved one. Walk-in assessments are available Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm. The organization supports multiple paths to recovery and emphasizes creating a safe, inclusive space where all are welcome.
