Pine Haven Boys Center

Pine Haven Boys Center is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian intensive residential facility located on 100 acres in Allenstown, NH. Established in 1963, it serves boys ages 6 to 15 with behavioral, educational, or emotional problems. The center uses a philosophy centered on "catching the child doing right," believing children can relearn more productive habits when given the opportunity. Pine Haven views children as components of the family system and is committed to involving families as equal, respected, and active partners in all major decisions. The ultimate goal is to help youngsters return to their family, school, and community, or when reunification is not possible, to promote optimal involvement between the child and family.
