Odyssey House is the largest and most comprehensive addiction program in Utah, founded in 1971 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The organization's mission is "empowering people to heal and build better lives." They serve adults with substance use disorders through multiple levels of care including residential programs, outpatient services, sober housing, and programs for parents with children and individuals in the criminal justice system. They also offer women's and men's mental health services, as well as school-based and assertive community treatment programs. Located in Salt Lake City area (Utah), Odyssey House treats the whole person using evidence-based models and reports a 173% higher drug abstinence rate than the 2020 national average and 84% higher than the 2020 Utah average. They offer free services for low-income Salt Lake residents and accept in-network insurance plans with affordable cash rates available.
