About Oakland Family Services
Oakland Family Services is a private, nonprofit human service organization founded in 1921 serving Oakland County with three convenient locations. Through their Day One program, they provide caring, confidential, research-based mental health and substance use disorder therapy for ages 4 and older. Licensed mental health professionals offer individual counseling, group counseling, and psychiatric services for mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. They treat trauma from abuse, domestic violence, bullying, and loss. For substance use disorders, they offer outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment services including group therapy and individual therapy, available in multiple locations across Oakland County.
