Northwood Health Systems

Northwood Health Systems is a behavioral health organization dedicated to providing cost-effective, quality care for children, adolescents, adults, and senior citizens. The organization offers a range of services including detoxification, counseling, and addiction treatment programs; mental health treatment and support for those at risk of mental illness; care for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities; and state-approved DUI safety and treatment classes. Northwood operates multiple locations in West Virginia including Wheeling, Weirton, Moundsville, and New Martinsville. The organization conducts regular Community Health Needs Assessments to identify and address the behavioral health needs of its community, with the goal of helping people achieve their highest possible quality of life.
