About Northeast Human Service Center

The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is a state agency with a mission to foster positive, comprehensive outcomes by promoting economic, behavioral, and physical health. The department operates the North Dakota State Hospital, Life Skills and Transition Center, eight regional human service centers, eight regional child support offices, and regional vocational rehabilitation offices across the state. Approximately 83 percent of the department's staff are based at these direct service locations. HHS provides a full spectrum of services and assistance to North Dakotans without regard to race, color, sex, age, disability, national origin, religion, political beliefs, or status with respect to marriage or public assistance.
