New Opportunities Inc. is a comprehensive service provider serving seven counties in Iowa (Audubon, Calhoun, Carroll, Dallas, Greene, Guthrie, and Sac). The organization provides treatment counseling, assessment and referral services for adults and adolescents experiencing problems due to substance use disorders. Counseling is available on an individual or group basis and is extended to family members and concerned persons. The organization also operates Head Start and Early Head Start programs, outreach services through Family Development Centers, prevention programs focused on alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, health services, and weatherization assistance. Treatment services include medication-assisted treatment, outpatient services, family and concerned person counseling, gambling services, OWI evaluation, and substance use assessment and evaluation. The organization is located in Carroll, Iowa and has served its communities for over 40 years with a commitment to responsive, supportive, and proactive case management.
