NewBridge Services is a nonprofit mental health and behavioral health provider serving northern New Jersey communities across Morris, Passaic, and Sussex counties. Licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health to provide mental health and addiction services, the organization treats children, teenagers, adults, and older adults. Services include treatment for mental illness, substance use disorder, and gambling addiction; crisis intervention; domestic violence support; care for abused and neglected children; case management and psychiatric rehabilitation for adults with severe mental illness; group homes and apartments; in-home counseling for homebound older adults; and alternative education and career programs. The interdisciplinary team includes adolescent specialists, addiction counselors, care managers, domestic violence professionals, nurses, nutritionists, play therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. Founded in 1963, NewBridge pioneered integrated treatment for co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse in the late 1980s and became an innovative leader in community mental health.
