Gastineau Human Services (GHS) is a private nonprofit organization located in Juneau dedicated to helping people restore their lives when adversely affected by addiction, homelessness, or incarceration. Mount Juneau Counseling & Recovery, part of the GHS family, specializes in addiction and mental health treatment services for adults. The program operates a 27-bed low-intensity residential substance use treatment program (3.1 ASAM level) and provides outpatient individual counseling and groups. GHS works with individuals throughout the continuum from residential care to outpatient to self-sustainability. Additional programs include Glacier Manor Community Residential Center, a correctional rehabilitation program with case management and treatment of behavioral health disorders, and Juno House, a transitional housing program for individuals experiencing homelessness.
