Great to meet you

Midwest Center for Youth and Families is a residential treatment provider located in Northwest Indiana specializing in full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) programs for adolescents. Founded in 1997, the facility serves males ages 12-18 and females ages 10-18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. The program helps children and adolescents regain control of their emotions and replace destructive coping mechanisms with positive ones through a comprehensive, family-focused approach. The center also offers Midwest Academy, a structured individualized educational setting for mental health treatment; Parent DBT Classes to help parents understand and support DBT interventions; and a Patriot Support Program providing specialized care for children of military members. Treatment occurs in a secure, nurturing environment where patients learn and practice DBT skills, supported by recreational activities organized by a recreational therapist.
