Mid Columbia Center for Living is the Community Mental Health Program serving Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman Counties in the Columbia River Gorge. They provide compassionate behavioral health services including mental health counseling and therapy for adults, children, and families; outpatient addiction treatment to support individuals on their recovery journey; and crisis stabilization with immediate assistance for behavioral health emergencies. The center operates with a trauma-informed care approach and commitment to dignity and respect, helping individuals and families access mental health, addiction recovery, and crisis services. They maintain a 24/7 crisis hotline and work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, connecting people to specialized care outside their scope when needed.

What a first session looks like
Virtual & In-PersonReach out by phone or online form to discuss your needs and goals. An assessment will be scheduled to take one or two visits, during which the center learns more about your situation and creates a personalized plan. Most people develop their plan and begin services right away.
