MERIT Resources (The Valley Alcohol Council, Inc.) is a nonprofit substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation center founded in 1979 in the Yakima valley. The organization provides assessment, education, integrated treatment services, and co-occurring services for substance use disorders and behavioral health needs. MERIT offers a variety of programs for people with mild, moderate, and severe addiction, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and telehealth services, as well as relapse prevention, continuing recovery, and aftercare.
