Great to meet you

Master Center is a physician-led addiction treatment program with locations throughout Virginia, including Greater Richmond, Hampton Roads, Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula, and Shenandoah regions. The practice offers comprehensive outpatient addiction treatment and telehealth services with same-day and next-day appointments available. Master Center provides evidence-based care through a multidisciplinary team of addiction medicine experts, counselors, and therapists, and is the first physician-led practice to hire and fully utilize Peer Recovery Coaches as personal patient helpers and care navigators. The program was co-founded by Dr. James Thompson, a board-certified Addiction Medicine physician and Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and Dr. Sherman Master, a pioneer in Addiction Psychiatry.
