Lower Eastside Service Center

LESC is a New York-based addiction recovery and mental health organization founded in 1959. They provide evidence-based services for people seeking recovery from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Services include Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with methadone and buprenorphine, residential treatment through their Su Casa program, dual diagnosis care integrating mental health and addiction treatment, problem gambling support, supportive housing in Manhattan and the Bronx, vocational training and employment services, and HIV early intervention. They operate outpatient clinics in Manhattan and offer person-centered care emphasizing medical treatment, safe housing, mental health support, and job training as part of a whole-person recovery approach.
