Lourdes Center

The Lourdes Center is a faith-based organization that offers grief support and healing programs rooted in Christian spirituality and informed by grief education. Located in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities, the center serves adults, families, and children navigating the loss of loved ones. Programs include HELD—Through Grief by Grace, an eight-week grief series with small group discussions organized by type of loss; Undone, a weekend healing retreat directed by Father Scott Traynor at Broom Tree Conference and Retreat Center featuring spiritual direction and counseling; Camp Sydney, a three-day family retreat for parents and children ages 6-17 providing therapeutic activities, guided discussions, shared prayer, and pastoral care; and He is Stable, an evening program offering presentations and candlelit reflection on finding Christ's light amid grief from bereavement.
