LifeHouse Group is a residential treatment program serving 155 men with substance use disorders. Located in Illinois, the program accepts men referred by treatment centers, released from the Illinois Department of Corrections, or living in the general community. The facility features four residential wings, each with full kitchen, lounge area, and laundry facilities. Residents commit to a minimum 90-day stay with the option to remain up to 24 months. The program offers over 80 hours of programming per week, with residents required to participate in a minimum of five hours weekly. Programming focuses roughly equally on addressing recovery challenges and building practical life skills. There are no fees for the first 60 days; after that, residents pay a $50 per week programming fee. The program emphasizes building physical and mental well-being, developing independence, and providing career and educational opportunities so residents are gainfully employed before returning to their communities. Family involvement is encouraged where appropriate and beneficial.

For incarcerated individuals, the process begins 30-60 days before release and includes a screening call 3-14 days prior to release from a LifeHouse Group representative.
