Life Center of Galax is a residential addiction treatment facility located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. Established as the first licensed and accredited residential program to exclusively treat adults with alcohol and drug addiction, the center has provided treatment for more than 40 years. They offer holistic, dual diagnosis services that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions through collaboration between psychiatrists, medical directors, and treatment staff. The program has evolved to address changing patterns of substance abuse, with nearly half of current patients receiving treatment for opioid addiction. Life Center serves adults struggling with alcohol use disorder and opioid use disorder.
