Liberation Programs provides treatment and prevention services for substance use and mental health disorders with a goal of helping individuals and families overcome addiction. The organization serves over 1,000 individuals daily through inpatient programs, outpatient and intensive outpatient services, education and prevention efforts, community outreach services, mobile outreach, and supportive housing. They offer inpatient beds for women and children through their Families in Recovery Program (FIRP) and men's inpatient beds through Lib House. The organization has been operating since 1971 and specifically assists individuals with opioid use disorder, including those whose insurance does not cover inpatient treatment through scholarship bed availability. Liberation Programs also provides Narcan training both in-person and virtually.
