The Lennard Clinic is a nonprofit addiction treatment provider founded in June 1984 in Newark, New Jersey, serving opioid dependent adults in Essex, Union and surrounding counties. The clinic is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Human Services and accredited by the Commission of Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) as an opioid treatment provider. TLC offers a full range of integrated, outcome-driven services delivered by a multidisciplinary team including counselors, case managers, psychologists, physicians, infectious disease specialists, nurses, psychiatrists and medical staff certified in addiction medicine. The clinic is committed to providing compassionate, client-centered and comprehensive treatment that addresses psychological, sociological, biological and economic factors related to substance use, while recognizing drug dependency as a chronic relapsing disorder that may require multiple treatment episodes. TLC accepts Medicaid, Work First/SAI, NJ Managed Care Plans, and state-funded options for residents, with sliding-scale and payment plan options available.
