Leech Lake
About Leech Lake
The Leech Lake Tribal Health Division's Behavioral Health Program offers behavioral health case management services to women and adolescent girls living on or near the Leech Lake Reservation. The program provides initial screenings conducted in-office, by phone, or in-person at home or clinic settings. Screenings address mental health, physical health, chemical abuse/dependency issues, housing, safety, economic, legal, and spiritual needs. Case management includes assistance with behavioral health appointments, transportation, primary care establishment, county applications for cash/food and medical support, housing applications, and referrals for employment, education, and chemical dependency services. The program works with self-referrals and referrals from Indian Health Services, community clinics, and other agencies. Services are confidential and respectful, with a focus on wellness and recovery.
