Kennebec Behavioral Health

Kennebec Behavioral Health (KBH) is a Maine-based mental health and substance use disorder treatment provider founded in 1960. The organization provides a continuum of prevention, education, and rehabilitation services for children, adults, and families struggling with mental health and/or substance use disorders. KBH operates over 20 locations throughout Maine and was designated as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) as of July 1, 2025. The organization is committed to providing services regardless of ability to pay and emphasizes evidence-based, innovative, and community-based approaches to care.
