Institute for Human Resources

IHR Counseling Services (the Institute for Human Resources of Livingston County) has been serving the community since 1974. Located in Pontiac, Illinois, they provide a continuum of mental health and substance use services. Services include individual, marital, family, adolescent, and group counseling; divorce mediation; psychiatric services; treatment for emotional stress; outpatient and intensive outpatient substance use services; drug and alcohol evaluations; DUI evaluations and remedial education; medication assisted recovery; and crisis services available 24 hours a day. The organization is committed to client-centered, goal-directed care that respects client autonomy, promotes positive life development, and encourages family involvement and early intervention.
