Great to meet you

The Institute for Health and Recovery (IHR) has been supporting family recovery since 1990. IHR helps people heal, strengthen relationships with loved ones, and thrive while navigating complex and intersecting challenges including substance use, trauma, mental health and medical needs, isolation, poverty and housing instability, and child welfare and justice system involvement. Services are rooted in compassion and lived expertise. IHR provides family-centered outpatient behavioral health treatment available in home, office, or community settings. They offer access to services statewide for pregnant people struggling with substance use through their Promise program. IHR also provides postvention services to programs throughout Massachusetts and offers training and technical assistance to professionals on trauma-informed care and recovery approaches.
