Human Resources Center of

HRC is a nonprofit organization founded in 1969 and incorporated in 1970, with its current form established in 1984. HRC provides a wide range of human services to individuals and families in Edgar and Clark Counties in Illinois. The organization serves people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, those struggling with mental health issues, and people struggling with substance use or addiction. Services include mental health therapy, recovery support, case management, employment assistance, crisis intervention, drop-in support, substance use counseling, DUI evaluations and risk education, residential services, vocational services, and community day services. HRC is primarily funded by the State of Illinois, charitable donations, grants, and property taxes.
