Hope Community Resources

Hope is a non-profit organization providing community supports to individuals and families who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and mental health challenges. They serve people of all ages, from infancy to elderly, across diverse ethnic backgrounds. The organization operates regional offices in Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley, the Kenai Peninsula, Kodiak, Seward, and Utqiagvik, Alaska. Their approach is centered on person-directed services emphasizing choice, control, family preservation, and community inclusion. Hope is guided by ten core values including individuality, dignity, opportunity, security, independence, self-advocacy, choice and preference, integration and inclusion, relationships, and joy.
