Hill Country Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Inc. (HCCADA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation licensed by the State of Texas Department of State Health Services. Founded in 1991, the organization serves Bandera, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, and Medina Counties in Texas. HCCADA provides comprehensive treatment and prevention services for substance use disorders through outpatient treatment, recovery support services, alcohol and drug assessments, and prevention education programs. Their approach is guided by a philosophy of mutual concern and responsibility. In 2023, approximately 700 individuals participated in their outpatient treatment program. The organization also offers DWI education, intervention courses, victim impact panels, drug offender education, youth and adult prevention programs, and mental health awareness training.
