Highland House, Inc. is a state-licensed residential halfway house located in New Castle, Pennsylvania, designed for men over 18 years of age in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions. The program is intended for men who have completed inpatient drug or alcohol treatment and are transitioning to a new environment or planning to re-enter their home environment. The facility offers therapeutic support services in a recovery-focused community that emphasizes individual discovery and growth, collective well-being, and shared experience, strength, and hope. The typical stay at the residential program is approximately six months. Highland House is contracted with PerformCare, Carelon Health of Pennsylvania, and Community Care Behavioral Health Organization, and operates under agreement with the Lawrence County Drug and Alcohol Commission and Pennsylvania Department of Health.
