Higher Ground is an intensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment program certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse. The program treats substance use disorder as a mental, physical, and spiritual condition affecting major life areas. Treatment is delivered through individual counseling, group therapy, spiritual life-skills education, and Bible study, grounded in Biblical principles consistent with the 12 steps and 12 traditions of AA. Higher Ground also operates licensed and accredited recovery houses providing safe sober living environments for men and women. The program operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and can be reached at 417-869-0700.
