Services address PTSD, depression, grief, anxiety, military sexual trauma, and other mental health conditions. Veterans can access services through VA medical centers, Vet Centers, and telemental health platforms. The VA served over 1.7 million Veterans with mental health care last year, offering peer support, counseling, therapy, medication management, and combinations of these options. The Veterans Crisis Line is available 24/7 by calling 988 and selecting option 1, or by texting 838255. No enrollment is required to access emergency mental health services or crisis support.
