Hampstead Hospital

Hampstead Hospital is an accredited specialty hospital in New Hampshire providing inpatient and residential psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and young adults. The facility serves acute psychiatric and substance use-related disorder needs with a trauma-informed, patient- and family-centered approach. The residential facility offers over 40 beds for children and adolescents ages approximately 5 to 15, with services including 24-hour nursing care, full psychiatric evaluation, daily medication management and monitoring, family-involved care, crisis and safety planning, structured daily routines, and small individualized treatment groups. Treatment is delivered by a multidisciplinary team including board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, licensed psychiatric nurse practitioners, masters level social workers, board-certified behavior analysts, psychiatric nurses, psychiatric mental health counselors, and mental health aides.
