About this practice
About
Bridge House / Grace House has been providing substance-use disorder treatment for over 65 years. The organization operates two residential facilities: Bridge House for males (located at 4150 Earhart Boulevard) and Grace House for females (located at 6321 Stratford Place), the only substance-use disorder treatment facility exclusively for women in the Greater New Orleans area. The facility is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week residential treatment provider that serves over 700 homeless, indigent, uninsured, underinsured, and unemployed men and women annually. Founded on the principle that recovery cannot be maintained without meeting individuals' basic needs, the organization provides substance-use disorder treatment services to those who have lost everything, offering a safe place to recover and tools to build a new life. Services are provided regardless of ability to pay. The clinical and vocational-based programs validate each individual as an important community member while promoting personal responsibility in recovery. The organization is the only provider offering long-term residential treatment in the Greater New Orleans area.
