Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is a state government agency that provides behavioral health services, developmental disability services, and hospital services. The agency offers mental health and substance abuse services, intellectual and developmental disability services, and deaf services. DBHDD operates several state hospitals including Central State in Milledgeville, East Central facilities in Augusta and Gracewood, Georgia Regional hospitals in Atlanta and Savannah, and West Central in Columbus. The agency coordinates crisis response services through the Crisis System of Georgia and provides 988 crisis line services. DBHDD also offers forensic services, jail restoration programs, and transitional housing resources.
