Freedom Center provides outpatient substance use disorder treatment to adults and adolescents in Minnesota, with locations in Princeton and Onamia. The practice offers day and evening groups to accommodate individual scheduling needs. Services include substance use disorder assessments, gambling treatment, domestic abuse classes, and assessments for anger management and domestic violence. The treatment approach is based on the belief that substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders are chronic, manageable illnesses. The center emphasizes abstinence from mood-altering chemicals, lifestyle change, understanding the relationship between addictive and mental health issues, medication management, and developing more effective coping mechanisms.
