Family and Children's Services (FACS) is a mental health practice located in Elizabeth, NJ with two offices. FACS provides trauma-informed mental health therapy to children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families through licensed clinicians. They offer weekly Parenting and Assertive Communication (anger management) classes open to the public. FACS also provides community workshops on trauma-related topics including Trauma 101 and Secondary Traumatic Stress training. They deliver training on evidence-based therapy approaches including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for professionals. Additionally, FACS offers in-home and in-office services for families involved with the Department of Children and Families, including Family Stabilization, In Home Life Skills, Parenting Classes, and Adoption Counseling through referral. FACS is a member of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN).
