Family & Children's Aid (FCA) is a community-based, non-profit organization in Connecticut providing mental health and substance abuse services for children, families, and adults. Founded over 200 years ago (predecessor organization established in 1809), FCA offers outpatient services, home-based family-focused treatment for children with psychiatric disorders (IICAPS program), foster care for children ages 6-17 who have experienced trauma, community-based services utilizing community resources, and temporary residential treatment in home-like environments.
