Families First of Florida

Families First of Florida, founded in 2000 by Carolanne Patriaco, provides trauma-focused mental health and behavioral services for children and families throughout North and Central Florida. The organization offers outpatient counseling, psychiatric medication management, mental health assessments, family counseling, in-home parenting programs, therapeutic visitation, adoption competent counseling, targeted case management, and adolescent substance abuse treatment. Services are delivered both in-office and in-home. The practice operates a foster care treatment program that pairs children with trained foster parents and clinicians who specialize in trauma recovery, helping children integrate their experiences and begin healing. Families First of Florida is committed to providing trauma-focused services to vulnerable populations including those in the child welfare system.
