Cognitive behavioral therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Spots the thought-feeling-action loops that fuel urges, then rewires them with practical skills you take into the moment.

Dialectical behavior therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Pairs acceptance with change. Especially useful when emotions feel too big to ride out without acting on them.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. A structured trauma therapy that helps the brain re-file painful memories so they stop hijacking the present.

Solution-focused therapy

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Spends less time on the why and more on what already works, then does more of that on purpose.

Art therapy

Art Therapy. Uses visual art-making as a structured way to access feelings that words have not yet caught up with. Often runs alongside talk therapy, not in place of it.

Equine therapy

Equine-Assisted Therapy. Structured work with horses, often alongside a clinician. Useful for trauma + emotional regulation when interaction with another live being lowers defenses that talk-therapy alone cannot.

Medication management

Medication Management. Ongoing monitoring + adjustment of psychiatric or addiction medications by a prescribing clinician. Often paired with therapy, not in place of it.
