Echota Behavioral Health is a United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians-owned behavioral health clinic providing compassionate, accessible mental health services to both tribal and non-tribal members across Northeastern Oklahoma. The clinic offers a range of services including individual therapy, case management, group classes, methadone maintenance, and psychiatry. Their team includes psychiatrists, physicians, nurse practitioners, licensed therapists, case managers, and peer recovery support specialists. They operate five clinic locations in Tahlequah, Jay, Kansas, Vian, and Stilwell. Services include individual therapy with personalized treatment plans, case management to improve quality of life and coordinate community resources, weekly group classes on topics such as anger management, trauma, substance use, parenting, depression, and anxiety, methadone maintenance delivered by medical teams with integrated therapy and group services, and psychiatry available in-person and via telehealth.
