Eastern Shore Community Services Board, established in 1971, is part of a statewide network of 40 Community Service Boards in Virginia. Located in Tasley, VA, they serve Accomack and Northampton counties with over 50 years of experience. The organization provides outpatient mental health and substance use counseling, peer recovery support, prevention services, developmental disability services, and emergency services. Services are provided to all age groups on an individual, group, or family basis. They offer person-centered services designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities in living safely and independently, as well as emergency services to meet immediate needs in the least restrictive environments. Prevention services include community and school-based programs that promote mental wellness for youth and families.
