Eastern Shoshone Recovery (ESRC) is a community-based recovery center located in Fort Washakie and Riverton, Wyoming, serving individuals struggling with substance use and mental health challenges. The organization offers online support groups via Zoom, traditional Native healing practices, and holistic approaches rooted in cultural teachings. ESRC operates several focused initiatives: a Meth Initiative focused on awareness and impact reduction, a Tribal Opioid Response program providing education about opioid abuse, and a Self-Assessment Center for mental health and addiction evaluation. Services are delivered by a multidisciplinary team including mental health therapists, certified addictions practitioners, peer specialists, and cultural support staff, with an emphasis on respecting each person's unique healing journey.
